| The Dobermann Club's objective is to foster and promote the
interests, welfare and good name of the breed, bearing in mind that the Dobermann is a
working dog. 1. Improve the Dobermann dog breed, encourage its breeding, contribute to its promotion and develop its use. 2. Establish and diffuse comments of standard for the intention of judges and confirmation experts. 3. Hold a list of recommended breeders. 4. Determine tests destined to contribute to improve the breed. 5. Establish, organise and participate in shows, exams in conformity with the regulating body of Mauritius. 6. Assume a role adviser for inscriptions in the official register book. 7. Verify pedigree of suspicious nature. 8. Favour relations between members, help and guide them in breeding. 9. Do anything necessary to promote the Dobermann breed.
